Allowable Heights and Areas Calculator.
AWC has developed an allowable heights and areas calculator with comprehensive Help file that demonstrates the degree of freedom allowed in wood construction by providing a general summary of allowable wood uses, including building height and area requirements.
Tall mass timber is an industry term to identify mass timber buildings that exceed the height limit for wood buildings set by the current International Building Code.
